Ah, Boxing Day — the cosy calm after the big day! The wrapping paper’s been cleared (mostly), you’re still in your comfies, and you're basking in that post-Christmas glow. Heaven. Our pub is open on Boxing Day, making The Rushcutters the perfect place to fill the day with merriment, Boxing Day traditions and the last of the Christmas joy.

Fancy a brisk winter walk to blow away the cobwebs? Lovely. Hungry for a hearty and delicious breakfast? Even lovelier. Or perhaps you're dreaming of round two with a Boxing Day lunch — a festive feast with all your favourites, minus the washing-up. Either way, we've got Boxing Day all wrapped up.

Need a little pick-me-up after a busy Christmas Day filled with fun, food and festivities? A delicious pub breakfast should do the trick quite nicely! Perfect for refuelling after the colourful chaos of Christmas, our Berry Granola Bowl is just the trick if you're still recovering from Christmas dinner. And, if a Boxing Day morning walk is on the cards, make sure you stop by and warm up with a lovely cuppa and a Sausage Sandwich.

'Tis the season to treat yourself, so join us on Boxing Day for a taste of our fantastic Boxing Day Menu. Whether you're craving our beautifully Hand-Carved Roast Turkey all over again (who isn't?), or something a little different like our Chargrilled Chicken in a Pea & Mint Velouté – there’s something delicious for everyone. And don't forget pudding! After all, who could resist our Salted Caramel Choux Bun? Enjoy three tasty courses for just £37 and let the seasonal flavours of our Boxing Day Menu keep the Christmas cheer alive. Oooh, go on, it is Christmas (still).

Our festive best – with duck fat & rosemary roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, thyme-roasted carrots, sprouts and roasted parsnips, a Yorkshire pud, a pig-in-blanket and gravy

Grilled sea bass †
Grilled sea bass with a basil pesto, served with lemon & thyme crushed potatoes, crisp prosciutto shards, broccoli and sprouts. All topped with a Chardonnay & chive sauce

Chargrilled chicken in a pea & mint velouté
Succulent chicken in a creamy garlic sauce with lemon & thyme crushed potatoes, peas, bacon and charred romaine

Marmalade-glazed pork belly
Slow-cooked pork with buttery mash, thyme-roasted carrots, sprouts, crackling and a warming apple cider & sage cream sauce

Roasted squash & sweet potato tart
Served with lemon & thyme crushed potatoes, glazed root vegetables, sprouts and balsamic gravy

Festive burger
Beef burger topped with honey-glazed bacon and Camembert. Served in a seeded bun with lettuce, skin-on fries, onion rings and cranberry sauce

Halloumi burger
