New Year’s Eve celebrations last all day at Wheatsheaf
Everyone does New Year’s Eve differently. Some people look forward to a leisurely breakfast after an energising walk, others have a long lunch with friends and some have a quiet drink to see in the clock striking twelve. Here at the Wheatsheaf you can do all these things, so what will it be?
Start off New Year’s Eve our Festive Breakfast menu
Join us for a relaxing start to the day, or perhaps you’re refuelling post early morning walk? With all of the traditional favourites like our Full Breakfast or Smashed Avocado as well as some new dishes like our Farmer’s Breakfast and Chef & Brewer Benedict, our breakfast menu has something for everyone. Breakfast is available 9:30am until 11:15am on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Country Pub Favourites
From 11:30am onwards you’ll be able to enjoy your favourite pub classics like our Lamb Shank Shepherd’s Pie, and for an extra treat our chefs will be preparing a menu of seasonal specials perfect for the occasion.

New Year’s Eve deserves something special, so get cosy in a corner of the pub, warm up next to our roaring log fires and treat yourself to our seasonal Chef’s specials.
We’ll be serving flavourful dishes like our Wild Garlic Prawns, Braised Beef Cheeks and our signature Trio of Seafood. It’d be rude to not treat yourself to a pudding, especially when you see what our chefs have prepared – round off your meal with an indulgent Panettone Bread & Butter Pudding, perfect when accompanied with one of our after-dinner drinks.
