Rose Revived, Newbridge
Right on the banks of the River Thames
Situated within easy reach of Oxford, the Cotswolds, the Chiltern Hills and the North Wessex Downs, the Rose Revived, Newbridge, is a picturesque inn hotel.
Stay in a picture-perfect hotel
Built in the 16th century out of pale Cotswold Stone, the Rose Revived is a stunning hotel and pub, surrounded by countryside and perched on a wide and lazy tract of the River Thames.
Inside, you’ll find an elegantly decorated, characterful hotel that tastefully blends the old with the new. The rooms evoke a sense of history, but with large, comfortable beds, crisp linen, plump pillows, and bright and modern en-suite bathrooms. And if you’re lucky enough, some of the rooms even offer riverside views. Riverside views or not, you’ll have tea and coffee-making facilities for that all-important cuppa in the morning, and free Wi-Fi to stay connected during your stay. There’s also a carpark on-site, while Oxford train station is just 11 miles away.
A stay at the Rose Revived puts you in the heart of Oxfordshire and at the centre of many sites and attractions. The beautiful Standlake Common Nature Reserve is just a stone’s throw away, the thriving market town of Witney just seven miles down the road, whilst historic Oxford is only 12 miles away. Further afield, but still within easy reach, you’ll find North Leigh Roman Villa and Chastleton House and Garden, the spectacular Cotswolds, plus the Chiltern Hills and the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Enjoy a fantastic family meal in the traditional pub and garden
Whether you’ve enjoyed a riverside walk, taken in the attractions of Oxford or ventured to the Cotswolds, when you arrive back at the Rose Revived you can tuck into a great value meal in the local pub and restaurant on-site. There’ll be a glass of fine wine or real ale with your name on it, and plenty of generous portions of British pub classics to choose from. You can enjoy the traditional inn setting inside or head out into the beautiful garden to enjoy the weather and the views out across the countryside and the Thames. Breakfast is served every morning too, with cooked and continental options available.
