We're Making A Comeback
Our pubs have been busy making plans, stocking up the fridges and cellars and making sure we’re looking on point for your return.
Many of our beer gardens are now open in England and if all goes to plan with the government roadmap we’ll be set to welcome you back for indoor bookings from Monday 17th May onwards – we hope you are as excited as we are!

How many pubs are we reopening?
We have 47 pubs that will be opening gardens to welcome you. Following that, our remaining pubs will be opening their doors on May 17th. Use the pub finder to check your local’s individual website for more details and opening hours.
What restrictions will be in place when I visit?
The rule of six or maximum 2 household rules still apply, even outside. We follow all government guidelines and advice, visit our Pub Safe page for more details.
I don’t have access to a smart phone so cannot check in using the NHS app or the Greene King QR code how else can I do this?
It is now mandatory that all guests aged 16 or over check in before ordering. There are three ways you can do this, either using the NHS app, the Greene King QR code or text and the Greene King Order and Pay app. If you don’t have access to any of these our team will be more than happy to take your details for you and check in on your behalf.
Why aren't you opening all pubs in April?
We have opened all pubs in England and Scotland that are able to follow the government guidelines for garden dining or drinking. Some of our pubs just don’t have the space to do this - but don’t worry, the majority of our remaining pubs will be reopening as part of the next stage of the roadmap from week commencing 17th May, when indoor dining and drinking is allowed.
Where can i buy your beer from now?
Missing your favourite Greene King tipple? Don’t worry, our beer shop has our range available to be delivered right to your door!
Can i buy a gift card?
Of course, and what a great gift if we do say so ourselves!
Are the pubs safe?
Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic we have worked hard to make sure our pubs are as safe as possible, whilst following the latest government guidelines.
Our PUBSAFE promises were developed to keep you, our loyal customers, as well as our dedicated teams safe. We have received some amazing feedback, letting us know how PUBSAFE has given you the assurance you need to feel safe when enjoying some well-earned down time in our pubs.
PUBSAFE continues to be at the heart of everything we do and is proudly followed in all our pubs. So, stay safe, play by the rules and be assured that we’re doing everything we can to protect you and our teams.
