What's happening at The Cross Keys this Winter
We've got plenty in store as we head into 2025 at the Chef & Brewer collection. From special celebrations with the whole family to quiet catch-ups with your nearest and dearest, we'll take care of the food, drink, and setting, so you can cherish time together. Here's a sneak peek at some of the exciting occasions we've got coming up – we can't wait to spend them with you.
New specials for the Winter Season
Our season of celebration continues onwards to the New Year as we introduce our seasonal specials with the warmest of welcomes. Available from 27th December, these include some flavour-twists that are sure to delight.
Our Wild Boar Scotch Egg makes a return to provide that nuanced difference from the festive treats. The perfect balance of sweet and savoury is wrapped up in our Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock, with the vibrant Squash, Spinach & Leek Parcel providing a tasty vegan alternative.
Lunch isn't off the menu as we prepare for 2025, with our hearty Mini Beef Wellington available for a lighter bite.
To finish off with a sweet treat, try our Panettone Bread & Butter Pudding.
Explore the Great British Countryside at Cross Keys
To celebrate our partnership with AllTrails and our love for the great British countryside, we will be providing complimentary breakfasts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting from Friday 27th December through to Friday 24th January.
To claim your breakfast, simply download the AllTrails app and show that you’ve completed a local walking route, or show the step count on your smart phone or watch to a member of the team.
Finish off your countryside amble with a hearty Farmer's Breakfast washed down with a flat white or pot of English Breakfast tea.

Burns Night
Four Course Burns Supper £28Our Burns Night Supper menu returns this January, our carefully curated 4 course menu is steeped in the history and tradition accustomed to celebrating the life and poetry of Robert Burns.
Featuring the traditional Scottish dishes, including Cullen Skink, Haggis Neeps & Tatties and of course the classic Cranachan Sundae. We also have a selection of our favourite Scottish whiskies for you to add to finish.
