Nestled on the outskirts of a picturesque village and surrounded by the rolling Cheshire countryside, the Blue Cap is a hub of the community in Sandiway and Cuddington and is a key pub in Cheshire's history. The Blue Cap was built in 1716 and back then, our name was the Sandiway Head Inn. In 1822, our landlady at that time changed our name to the Blue Cap, to honour a famous Sandiway foxhound called Blue Cap. Today, our pub is home to all and is one of only two pubs in Sandiway and Cuddington. We are family-friendly, dog-friendly and have disabled facilities available, with a small car park just outside for guests who have driven to see us. Our cosy, quintessential interior is not one to miss either — ceilings lined with railway sleepers, fires roaring and a bar well-stocked with rotating local guest beers. Just outside, we have a glorious beer garden with monkey puzzle trees towering over our pub and a sheltered seating area with heaters for those colder months.
