Summer is well and truly here and it's time for a worthy celebration, don't you think?
Luckily, here at The Royal Inn in Portishead, we know a thing or two about throwing a proper buzzing summer fête, with good food, the soundtrack of live music, garden games that feel like the old days of summer and, of course, celebratory sips aplenty! So, if you fancy capturing the summer and making some lifelong memories at our place with all your favourite people, read on to find out about all the exciting things we have planned.
What to expect
We're throwing our fabulous summer party on 29th August, so mark that in your calendars, everyone! We'll be kicking things off from 12pm until 4pm for an afternoon of family fun, so make sure you're here bright and early to enjoy live music, family-friendly entertainment, fun for the little ones, our best-dressed dog competition and a refreshing drink from our pop-up outdoor bars. Oh, you're in for a treat, too – we're serving up treats from our friends at Chapel Down Wine, Innocent, Level Head and Fever Tree, so you know it's going to be a real party!
And, later on, you're going to want to stick around for golden hour and beyond from 4pm until 8pm – expect an evening filled with garden games, cocktails, picky bits, a photo booth and live music... Because what would a party be without a bit of entertainment, eh?
Fancy a spritz and some Picky Bits?
Summer parties should be fuelled by refreshing spritzes and tasty picky bits – and that's exactly what you'll get at Royal Inn! Whether your go-to is a classic Aperol Spritz, a light, floral St-Germain Hugo Spritz or a zesty Clean Blood Orange Spritz, there's something about a nice, fizzy spritz with plenty of ice that just screams ""Hello, summer!"".
Now, let's talk about picky bits! Made for snacking, grazing, nibbling and sampling, our Picky Bits are party food perfection, so grab yourself a nice little selection of Korean Chicken Bites, Loaded Chips, Serrano Ham & Manchego Croquettes and more.
