The Kings Arms is situated by the river side in Sandford on Thames, Oxford and is a traditional pub restaurant with al fresco dining in those hot summer days. Retaining traditional features including three old open fireplaces, although only one is in working order. The tables are all decorated with candles, this along with soft background music creates a desirable family dining experience. Food can be eaten throughout the pub or outside in the garden. Meals can be chosen every day from an extensive main menu with a selection of wines to complement your choice. The particular feature of this lovely pub is the garden which overlooks the river with stunning views and barbeques in the summer. The children love it here as they can see the ducks and swans while parents relax in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Many guests come from the passing boat parties. Sometimes you know just what you want; great pub food cooked with care. Whether it's hand-battered cod & chips, the gourmet burger, or the ever-popular ‘Brewer's Chicken’, now is the time to rediscover your old favourites. Make sure you try our traditional Sunday roasts with a huge a Yorkshire pudding and unlimited gravy. The food at the Kings Arms is rooted in traditional British cuisine and the chefs showcase a modern flair with the dishes they produce.
