Lying along the banks of the River Tyne, Corbridge is a picturesque village in Northumberland. It was once a bustling town and supply base where Romans and civilians would pick up food and provisions and remained a vibrant community right up until the end of Roman Britain in the early years of the 5th century. 

Today, you can still walk through the town's streets and experience a time capsule of Roman life. Some of the oldest finds in Britain, including rare Roman armour, Corbridge Lion, and the Corbridge Collection (the largest of the Hadrian's Wall collections) are housed in the town’s newly refurbished museum. All are just a few miles away from the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall and the popular coast-to-coast Hadrian’s Wall Path. 

As for transport, Corbridge is very accessible, with easy routes to Newcastle, Carlisle and Hexham, while Newcastle Airport is just a short drive or taxi ride away.
