The Didsbury pub is located on Didsbury’s former Village Green, in a pleasant suburb of South Manchester surrounded by extensive parkland. The Didsbury pub restaurant, a former coach house has retained many of its 18th century original features, including exposed wooden beams and open fireplaces. As well as a warm welcome, we have an inviting menu of traditional pub food and seasonal dishes, plus an extensive range of wines and real ales for you to enjoy.

  • About the Didsbury

    The Didsbury is a striking former coach house built in 1793 – however, the site of the pub dates back to the early 17th century, where a much older inn, the Ring O’ Bells used to stand. Many of the original features of the coach house still remain today. It is a popular, family-friendly pub with a reputation for good food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

    Our expansive beer garden can be found at the front of the pub on the site of the old village green, and thanks to large parasols, lights and patio heaters it can be enjoyed most of the year. In winter, roaring open fires provide a snug place to enjoy a meal or drink. You’ll find us just off the A34, South Manchester.

    Family Friendly

    All the family is welcome to join us at The Didsbury. We are a child-friendly pub and if you have infants in your party, we have highchairs and baby changing facilities available. Our staff will be happy to help with any other requests you may have. We also offer a delicious Chef & Brewer children’s menu with lots of tasty choices that the little ones are sure to love. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside the pub but we do have a large bear garden with patio heaters where they are welcome to join the family.

    A traditional Sunday roast is a great way to spend Sunday lunch time and at Chef & Brewer we want to make your Sunday roast one to remember. Our traditional Sunday roasts are available all day on Sunday and include a great selection of roast dishes. Join us on Sunday for a choice of traditional British roasts served with all the trimmings.
