Royal Ascot 19 June - 23 June


Royal Ascot is arguably Britain’s most glamorous horse racing event. The most valuable race, it attracts many of the world’s finest racehorses who will compete for more than £7.3 million in prize money. Hosting 13 of Britain's 36 annual Group 1 horse races, Royal Ascot is certainly one of the highlights of the English summer season.

Over 300,000 spectators are expected to gather to enjoy the racing, fine wines, opulent food and formal environment - and even be in with a chance of spotting a member of the royal family or two during the week!

With Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family in daily attendance, it really is a royal event. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, aka The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join the Queen at Royal Ascot for the horse racing.

Harry and Meghan will present the winning trophy for the 4:20pm race on Tuesday 19 June. The newlyweds will be attending the famous sporting event together for the first time.
