6 Japanese Botanicals

The Japanese craft gin is perfectly distilled with six Japanese botanicals for your drinking pleasure.

The Roku Gin bottle has also been thoughtfully designed to reflect the six botanicals that are featured in the gin with the unique six sided bottle design.

Did You Know: The ROKU logo has been designed by a renowned Japanese calligraphy artist and features a hexagonal-shaped gold stamp in reference to the 6 unique botanicals.

The label is printed onto traditional Japanese 'washi' paper and features only 4 colours for authentic simplicity that is typical of Asian culture.

Tasting Notes

Smell: Cherry blossom and green tea provide a lloral and sweet aroma.

Taste: Complex, multi-layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit) as the top note. Smooth and silky texture.

Finish: The crisp Japanese sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.

Roku contains six unique Japanese botanicals harvested in accordance with the "shun", which is the moment of peak flavour.

These six botanicals are then steeped and distilled before being carefully blended together with 8 traditional gin botanicals: juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, angelica seed, cinnamon toto, cardamon seed and bitter orange peel.
