Every Chef & Brewer pub has a team of chefs that prepare and cook the mouth-watering dishes on our menu, but this menu is crafted by Chef & Brewer’s two greatest assets; our head chefs, Kevin Steppe and Kevin Woodyet.
About Kevin Steppe
Kevin’s experience in the food industry is unrivalled. He’s worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, owned his own eateries and has even worked in the world-famous Claridge’s Hotel.
Kevin is the menu development manager for Chef & Brewer and pours his heart and soul into creating the best menus possible. He’s extremely proud of the current menu and feels it truly reflects the best tastes of the season.
About Kevin Woodyet
Kevin was locally trained to become a chef at Burton Technical College, where he studied for 3 years in hotel & Catering management. He then proceeded to further his knowledge and joined the Savoy London working in the Famous Grill Room restaurant for 4 years.
Upon leaving the Savoy he joined Gary Rhodes at the Greenhouse Restaurant Mayfair and helped attain a Michelin Star.
He has then since worked in several establishments as Head Chef attaining AA Rosettes. Kevin has been in Menu / Product Development since 2004 and joined the spirit group in 2009.
Kevin’s goal is to produce great Quality, Value for Money dishes with an emphasis on seasonality that perfectly fits within a pub environment.
